Denya Du Plessis's  love of dance started at the young age of 3 years old.  It was inevitable that she would become a professional dancer and choreographer.

Her professional dance career started at the age of 18 years old when she left school.  Denya travelled internationally (eg Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Australia, Taiwan and more) performing in various dance contracts/extravaganzas and shows.  She was also offered the opportunity to Dance on Cruise ships which allowed her to further her travels and dance professionally.

Once Denya decided to settle back in South Africa after many years performing abroad she started her own Dance Company called Dangerous Curves. Dangerous Curves worked with (choreographed) and hired many professional dancers and singers specializing in mainly corporate, industrial theatre and theatrical shows for different events/functions/casino's and product launches.

Local dance contracts that she has also on a personal level choreographed and performed in were casino extravaganzas at the likes of Sun City, Wild Coast Sun, Gold Reef City, Carnival City, Suncoast, Sibaya and more. 

Denya has also worked for the Barnyard Theatre for over 15 years choreographing and performing in their shows.  She has also choreographed a number of shows/productions for various choirs (many schools), bands and professional and non professional theatrical shows.

Dance is Denya's  passion and she believes it is the language of the soul!  She believes life is just happier when you dance!
