Life Has a Funny Way of Helping You Out

The last line of the song sums it up: “Life has a funny way of helping you out”

Although we find ourselves in ‘ironic’ situations, everything happens for a reason! That has been my mantra for 2016. Hopefully you have looked back on situations in your life and in hindsight realized they happened that way for a reason. It can be a hard pill to swallow.

The idea is that when life hands you lemons, you make lemonade, and make the most of it and what you have been given. Things happen in their timing and when they are supposed to.

I have struggled with this concept but have been learning more so in the last few years to embrace this. There has been many a time where I’ve looked back and said, “Ok, that’s why!”

One recent example: Yesterday marks the toughest experience I had to go through, 6 months ago, when Giannina was born. Without getting into the details leading up to her birth, I know that I never would have been able to embrace the fact that I can do ANYTHING if I really set my mind to it! And I have an extremely happy, healthy and thriving baby on top of the challenges we faced.

Everything happens for a reason.
